In an increasingly confusing globalized world, the need for categorizations and rigid concepts of identity seems to be constantly growing. Ambiguities and spaces in between have an increasingly difficult stand. This is the point of departure for the artists in the exhibition: Based on their preoccupation with materials and craft techniques, they create
works that build bridges - between traditional local knowledge and other cultures and times, between craft and contemporary art.
